What have I done to prevent it?
To change the course of time
As history repeats it all again

As I receive the party’s last orders
To keep calm and deny it all
As the cloud passes our borders
Spreads from the kremlin to the Berlin wall

Shall I remain calm towards the end – for the sake of a brighter day?
Or shall I tear down the day for an endless night - to comfort my fear of light?
As I fight my will and sanity in defence against their voice
May their darkness be a part of me – as I turn the course of fate

Failed – their vision’s lost- alone in their fortress they’ll pay the cost
Futile – their last attempt – We shall arise to bring their end

Centuries ago through times of war
And heavens wait for those so kind

What once stood in unity – a crumbled torn community
We are powerless and weak – dethroned and pushed from our peak
A shattered dream of leader ship – the leaders left the sinking ship

The flames give birth to ashen butterflies
Imago from the kindling paper
Last words – now ascending to the skies
Only visible for our creator

Blame malfunction or the others – we must set fire to the truth
Tell their fathers and their mothers the men were brave every recruit
Mother Russia weeps for now – crimson tears of shame and failure
No one shall know the cause the how – the loss of the ship outweighs each sailor
